Almighty Father God, thank You for moving young people to give themselves to short-term missions, participating in the expansion of Your Kingdom among the unreached people group. Salome from the Kuching’s Methodist Church is willing to go to North Thailand, to teach in a mountain school for two months before she enters university in October this year. In the name of Jehovah Shalom, we bless her to successfully obtain a visa to serve in the short-term missions and fight the good fight for the Gospel of Christ. We ask the Holy Spirit to anoint her so that she would be a good friend to the Thai students and reflect the image of Christ to them. We also pray for another young short-term missionary, Jasmine, who is serving among the refugees in Southeast Asia. Give her a healthy body and a joyful heart, O God, and keep her safe all the time. Allah Bapa, terima kasih untuk menggerakkan pemuda-pemudi agar mempersembahkan diri mereka dalam misi jangka pendek sehingga Kerajaan Allah datang kepada bangsa-bangsa yang belum terjangkau. Salome dari Gereja Kuching bersedia untuk pergi ke Utara Thailand, untuk mengajar di sebuah sekolah di kawasan pedalaman selama dua bulan sebelum dia masuk ke universiti pada bulan Oktober. Dalam nama Yahweh Shalom, kami memberkati Salome agar berjaya mendapat visa untuk melayani dalam misi jangka pendek. Roh Kudus mengurapinya supaya menjadi teman yang baik bagi para pelajar di Thailand dan menyatakan kemuliaan Kristus kepada mereka. Kami juga mohon Bapa terus memberkati misionari jangka pendek yang lain, iaitu pemudi Jasmine. Dia sedang melayani di antara orang-orang pelarian di Asia Tenggara.
